Zehusice Palace

Year

2010 - 2011

Overview

Built in 1679 in the Baroque style for the aristocratic family of Thun-Hohenstein, this house is over 3,000 square meters, not counting its various outbuildings, including an indoor riding arena, also built in the Baroque period. In 1828 the house was given its first renovation and transformed into its current Imperial style. We were asked to undertake its second renovation to return it to its original use as a country home. In this role it will serve as a hunting lodge at times and so needs to accommodate a pheasant hunting party of eight couples in addition to the owners
